About the Designer
The label is a partnership between Nyssa Marrow and Kerry Findlow who’ve been working together since first founding the studio collective, all of the above. The process of making things is strongly tied to above. as a label with as much of the patterns, sampling and testing happening in house.
About the Product
above. aims to produce classic, wearable shapes that have the foundations of a well cut pattern. The collections always center around the basic wardrobe (shirt, shift dress, the suit, trench coat) but are re-imagined from a structural point of view. Our approach is to utilise fabrics and colours that reference the classic garment categories. The development of our own devore printing technique to create our own versions of lace has been evolving for the past few seasons and has become somewhat of a trademark.
Philosophy on Style
Our clothing should never overshadow the person wearing it, rather should integrate into their lives and wardrobes seamlessly. We like the idea of investing in a piece that makes you feel like you've had it for ages. We see clothing not in terms of a trend but more in a way of living, and expressing your own personal sense of style.

The favourite above. pant in a short version for summer. Easy, relaxed fit with the staple above. crossover waistband. Made in 100% linen, these sit slightly higher in the back and create a subtle v-shape in the center front.
shifted collar blouse
Ideal little blouse for those days when you want to look effortlessly elegant. The shifted collar detail elevates this to a new take on a classic, while still being supremely wearable. Available in both the classic cream colour and the deep marroon (pictured) this is the perfect little top to get you through all those summer evening parties and afternoon picnics
shifted collar dress
Based on a classic white shirt dress, this piece is a new take with some subtle details that elevate it to the perfect summer dress. Made in soft, slinky 100% viscose fabric it is designed to fall beautifully. The two reverse pleats in the back waist create the perfect shaping and the assymetric button tab creates a side split in the front.
